Cosmetic trainers was formed by a small group of Doctors and Nurses who who have established successful clinics and are passionate about aesthetics and client focused care.
On our own cosmetic clinician journeys, we found that affordable training with an emphasis on ethical practice, evidence based interventions and a biopsychosocial approach were lacking, so collaborated to create cosmetic trainers.com
Our Foundations of Clinical Cosmetic course introduces a range of common interventions and procedures, from traditional beauty therapies through to injectables and device-based technologies. We have aimed to focus on treatments for which there is objective evidence, or where this is not available, on a sound understanding of the effect of our intervention on a client's anatomy, physiology and appearance.
A point of difference to our approach is the belief that cosmetic treatments are not just about enhancing a perception of beauty -'cosmetic' treatments can have a profound impact on our patients or clients self image, self esteem and confidence. The skills and technologies can be used to correct scarring, repair tissue defects and manage systemic and localised conditions affecting the skin.
An area of cosmetics also under-utilised is the use of the treatments and technologies to better manage medical conditions, such as migraine, neuralgias, as well as some chronic pain and orthopaedic issues.
The foundations course is spread across 13 modules to complete at your own pace.

About Us
The Cosmetic Trainers team has spent many collective years working in Emergency, General and Remote Medicine and Nursing before becoming cosmetic clients themselves for various reasons. Their own experiences as clients lead them to believe that cosmetic treatments should be more evidence based, ethically delivered, performed at the highest clinical standard, and tailored to the goals and needs of their clients.
Cosmetic Trainers has created an online education platform for both aspiring and established aesthetic clinicians. While many foundation courses focus mainly on learning procedures, Cosmetic Trainers believes that providing high quality and professional aesthetic services requires a wholistic, client focused model.
This foundation course will soon be followed by more specialized modules and master classes in specific areas.
